Day Center “Home of Love and Mercy” was formed in 2015 as an NGO after we previously volunteered for almost 10 years in disadvantaged communities. We started as a group of two volunteers with a passion for needy families and a big desire to impact lives. For many years our “office”was in open air and the interaction with people was overwhelming. With the financial support of our friends from Romania Aid and Impact Romania, two international NGOs we were able to base a Day Center in Targu-Mures.
The Day Center is focusing on breaking the vicious circle of poverty by proving material, moral and humanitarian aid for needy people based on principle of empathy, respect, non-discrimination, integrity and kindness for mankind. Our strategy is to promote and run several projects such as educational, medical, legal assistance and humanitarian aid for the target groups.
